The Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of their allocated function, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, accurately and to a high standard. They will monitor workload, productivity, quality and capacity across the team, taking proactive action to address issues and maintain service performance. Main duties of the job Leading the team Lead the referrals function and pathology results service across multiple GP practices Support colleagues with complex referral queries and complex pathology cases Monitor workload, quality, turnaround times and performance across both functions Enjoy developing people and coaching others while still delivering your own workload Combine operational leadership with hands-on delivery Hands-on delivery Personally process referrals and pathology results alongside your team Ensure urgent referrals are prioritised appropriately, and urgent pathology results are actioned promptly Improving the service Improve referral processes and documentation Improve pathology processes and SOPs Work closely with clinicians, GPs and secondary care providers About us Penrose Health is on a mission to deliver outstanding healthcare to every patient we serve.
