Main duties of the job To lead, manage, maintain, plan and co-ordinate all areas of responsibility (Pharmacy Clinical Services, Education & Training Teams for all sites) at Imperial in line with Trust Priorities and Pharmacy strategic objectives. To ensure delivery of high quality services which are patient focussed and consistent across the Trust sites. To ensure services are provided in accordance with current regulations, best practice and legal requirements. To set standards for services, monitor performance, and ensure that services are provided efficiently and in accordance with the needs of users. To develop, train, motivate and encourage staff working within the team and the department as a whole. To support the Pharmacy Leadership team in the development, maintenance and implementation of the annual business plans and service strategies for the department. To act as the Operational Site Lead as required in the absence of the respective Deputy Chief Pharmacist (s) as required. To Deputise for the Deputy Chief Pharmacists, Chief Pharmacist and other members of the Pharmacy executive team at department, trust and external meetings as required.
