This is a 1-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Main duties of the job The right candidate will work across local community and individual giving income streams to raise income, support and awareness of the work of St. Johns, while managing all aspects of the volunteer programme. The role will also support all legacy fundraising. This includes supporting fundraising campaigns like Light Up a Life, collection tins, and mass participation challenge events. Campaign Support : Provide logistical and strategic support for hospice-led campaigns, ensuring smooth execution, effective engagement with the community, and maximization of fundraising efforts. Engagement with Schools, Faith, and Community Groups : Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising to develop strategies and fundraising products that encourage schools, faith groups, and community organisations to support the hospice, raising funds while enhancing awareness of the hospices services. In Memory Fundraising Support : Assist with the development and promotion of the In Memory giving programme, helping families and individuals honour loved ones through donations, tribute funds, and memorial events. Individual Giving Fundraising : Support the Individual Giving programme by assisting with donor communications, stewardship, and the development of materials to encourage regular giving, one-off donations, and sponsorship. Legacy Fundraising : Contribute to the growth of the hospices Legacy Fundraising programme by promoting the importance of leaving a gift in wills, supporting the management of legacy enquiries, and assisting with related communications. Donor Stewardship : Ensure that all donors are thanked promptly and appropriately, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring that supporters feel valued for their contributions. General Fundraising Support : Provide additional support to the wider Fundraising team, including assisting with charity shop activities, mass mail-outs, and any other fundraising related
