Come and work with us on 6 South at the Royal Free Hospital (RFH), Hampstead This post offers neuropsychology input to the acute stroke and neurology unit on 6 South, providing a specialist clinical psychology/neuropsychology service to patients alongside medical, nursing and therapy colleagues within the MDT. Main duties of the job Clinical work on 6 South includes brief assessment, rehabilitation and systemic work with individuals, families and wider social networks affected by recent stroke and neurological conditions, with consultation, training and guidance to the wider team and networks around the person integral to the role. The postholder will also offer consultation input to Neuro REACT, an inreach MDT supporting neurorehabilitation for patients on outlier wards, or who need high intensity input. Clinical supervision is provided by the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist also based at RFH. Wider roles and opportunities include design, delivery and evaluation of service development initiatives (including groups), audit/research, teaching/training sessions, and supervision of qualified and Trainee Clinical Psychologists. Person Specification Qualifications Essential Post-Graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, or its equivalent, leading to eligibility for Chartered Status by the BPS Valid professional registration with HCPC Desirable Working towards registration on Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists Enrolled on a course of study and supervision leading to eligibility for the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists (SRCN) Experience Essential Post-doctoral experience in neuropsychological assessment Post-doctoral experience in neurop
