Jewish Care Clinical Assessor & Educator The closing date is 30 November 2026 Apply for this job Job summary The Clinical Assessor & Educator will play a key role in strengthening clinical capability, competency and professional practice across Jewish Cares Care Homes and Retirement Living Services. Working 36.25 hours per week, this permanent multi-site role combines clinical education, competency development and complex clinical assessment. The postholder will develop and deliver training for registered nurses, care staff and support teams, coordinate mandatory and statutory training, support clinical audits and quality improvement, and provide guidance on clinical practice, risk management and care planning. The role also involves undertaking complex holistic assessments for admissions, considering physical, emotional, cognitive, social and financial needs, and providing evidence-based recommendations to Registered Managers. You will work closely with operational, quality and multidisciplinary teams to promote safe, high-quality and person-centred care Main duties of the job We are looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Assessor & Educator to join Jewish Care and help develop clinical excellence across our Care Homes and Retirement Living Services. Combining education, clinical assessment and quality improvement, you will deliver training, support competency development and help staff build the knowledge and confidence needed to provide safe, high-quality care. You will also undertake complex assessments for new admissions, contribute to clinical audits and incident reviews, and provide clinical guidance to managers and multidisciplinary teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or healthcare professional with strong clinical experience, an education or teaching qualification and a passion for developing others and improving standards of care for older people.
