Jewish Care Relief Care Team Leader The closing date is 30 November 2026 Apply for this job Job summary The Relief Care Team Leader will play an important role within the Care team at Otto Schiff on the Maurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus in Golders Green, supporting residents living with dementia and providing leadership to care staff. Working on a relief basis with 12-hour shifts from 8am8pm, including some weekends, the postholder will lead and coordinate shifts, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care. The role includes supporting residents with personal care and daily living, promoting physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing, contributing to care planning, responding to incidents and emergencies, and maintaining accurate records. You will also support, mentor and motivate colleagues, assist with induction and development, and promote safeguarding, health and safety and regulatory compliance. A QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is essential, alongside experience supervising staff within a care setting Main duties of the job We are looking for a caring, motivated and proactive Relief Care Team Leader to join our team at Otto Schiff in Golders Green. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced care professional who enjoys leading others while providing high-quality, person-centred support to older people living with dementia. You will take responsibility for coordinating shifts, supporting care staff and ensuring residents receive the right care and support to maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life. You will also contribute to care planning, safeguarding, medication support, staff development and effective communication with families and healthcare professionals.
