Main duties of the job Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic health conditions Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines Develop personalised care plans tailored to individual patient needs Educate patients on health management, medication use, and preventive care strategies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards Stay updated with the latest medical research, anatomy knowledge, and clinical practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes About us We are a very friendly, family orientated and innovative practice with about 3300 patients which continues to grow. Our clinical team includes GPs, Practice Nurse, Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health Practitioner, Social Link Prescriber, Health and Well-Being Coach and Care Coordinator all working together to provide the high levels of clinical excellence and support to our patients. We also thrive in staff training and progression. We use EMIS Web clinical system with Docman 10 and have a great Administrative support Team with a triage system to manage workload.
