This is a 3 months fixed term post for 4 Programmed Activities to cover a part time vacancy of a Resident Doctor, higher (ST) training. The purpose of this job description is to outline the level of responsibility and accountability of this post. This will ensure that all work undertaken by our staff is clearly identified and carried out under clear lines of accountability. The expectation of the post holder will be to support their team, department and organisation to follow the Trusts Values in their day-to-day work. We are kind We are respectful We work with our communities Main duties of the job The postholder will work within the Waltham Forest Mental Health & Wellness Team Central. Duties will include the clinical psychiatric assessment of patients referred to the service and patients already on the caseload; thorough evaluation of patients clinical needs; risk assessment; safeguarding; clinical documentation and correspondence; collaborative work with care coordinators and all members of the MDT; liaison with GPs and all relevant services concerned with patient care. Supervision will be provided by Dr Ragini Motwani. Additional guidance will also be available from other medical and clinical members of the team. There are no on call responsibilities.
