Main duties of the job At Avery Healthcare, we're seeking a Sous Chef - Bank for Purley Gardens Care Home in Purley. The role requires supporting the head chef in leading the culinary team to provide a high-quality culinary service within budget. Responsibilities include: preparing modified diets according to IDDSI guidelines, supervising culinary staff as directed by the Head Chef, understanding safe food handling principles, and supporting teams with the Avery Food safety management system. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant catering qualification, at least 1 year of catering experience, and demonstrate compassion and adaptability. Working hours are from 07.00 am to 15.00 pm, and 12.00 pm to 19.30 pm.
