Working 37.5 hours a week, you will provide support to people who may be living with severe learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. The service users may also have profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems. From facilitating the development of a quality social care service to meeting financial targets to deputising as the service lead, including on call duties, you will be the Home Managers right-hand person, ensuring the smooth running of the service. With experience from within the care sector as a senior employee, you will assist with the strategic development of the care home, which will see you abide by and work towards Elysiums objectives and business plans. Main duties of the job As Deputy Home Manager, you'll support the Home Manager at Elysium Healthcare's facility on Upper Brighton Road in Surbiton. You'll work 37.5 hours weekly, aiding individuals with learning disabilities and autism, some exhibiting challenging behaviors. The role involves strategic planning, financial target management, deputizing for the Home Manager, and coordinating on-call services. Responsibilities include team leadership, staff supervision, contract review preparation, maintaining inter-staff relationships, and adhering to Elysium's operational objectives.
