Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust Senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist The closing date is 14 October 2026 Apply for this job Job summary The post holder will work as a Band 6 Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist within Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across MSK services. The role involves working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team across community and clinical settings. The post holder will manage their own caseload, undertake advanced clinical assessments, and contribute to service delivery, development and education. They will also support junior staff and students, while maintaining professional standards in line with HCPC and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy guidelines. Main duties of the job The post holder will independently assess, diagnose and manage patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions, developing and delivering individualised treatment plans using evidence-based practice. Responsibilities include triaging referrals, formulating treatment programmes, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting interventions as required. The role requires effective communication with patients, carers and the wider MDT to support coordinated care. The post holder will contribute to clinical supervision, teaching and support of junior staff, participate in audits and service development, and ensure safe use of equipment and adherence to clinical governance, health and safety, and data protection standards About us Working within the community services at Teddington Memorial Hospital, part of Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust, you will join a supportive and forward-thinking team delivering care closer to patients homes.
