London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust Trust Specialist Registrar in Stroke The closing date is 21 October 2026 Apply for this job Job summary Trust Specialist Registrar in Stroke - Un-banded 1 X 1 Year FTC (Mat Cover) We are looking to recruit a full-time doctor to join the Stroke Unit on a 1 year fixed term contract. All posts working with vulnerable groups will be subject to an enhanced criminal records check upon appointment and staff will need to give their consent for the Trust to receive regular updates on their criminal records status throughout their employment. Main duties of the job Candidates must hold MBBS or equivalent and be expected to have completed foundation 1 year training, and ideally have experience at F2, CT1/2 or ST1/2/3 level.The successful applicant will be expected to have full registration with the General Medical Council with a licence to practise. To provide in-patient and out-patient care for patients referred with suspected stroke or TIA, stroke mimics and medical outliers on the Stroke Unit. To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care To contribute to the development of clinical quality and effectiveness in other clinical areas where these overlap with developments in stroke.
