This is an exciting opportunity for a GP who is looking for a well-supported role within a forward-thinking practice that values high-quality patient care, continuity and clinician wellbeing. We are open to applications from both experienced GPs and GPs who are recently qualified. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services to our registered practice population. The role will include: Conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations Managing acute, chronic and complex presentations Providing appropriate clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment Prescribing safely and effectively Reviewing and managing patients with long-term conditions Making appropriate referrals and coordinating care with secondary and community services Supporting patients with preventative healthcare and health promotion Working collaboratively with our wider multidisciplinary team Participating in clinical meetings and practice development Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records Contributing to the ongoing improvement of quality and patient safety within the practice We encourage our GPs to develop areas of special interest and are keen to support professional development wherever possible. About us Nightingale House Surgery is a friendly and established GP practice serving approximately 6,000 patients in Enfield. We are a supportive and collaborative team consisting of [GPs, nurses, pharmacists, healthcare assistants, social prescribers and other members of the wider MDT].
