Person Specification Qualifications Essential A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy Current HCPC registration Significant post-qualification experience working with CYP with complex speech, language and communication needs e.g. speech sound delay/disorder, DLD, language disorder Experience of working with CYP with social communication difficulties or a diagnosis of Autism and/or ADHD. Experience implementing and supporting Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Total Communication approaches. Excellent assessment, report writing and communication skills The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team Experience of working with school age children with SEND.
