Cockfosters Medical Centre Salaried GP permanent The closing date is 20 October 2026 Apply for this job Job summary We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our established clinical team for 4 to 6 sessions per week. * Newly qualified GPs are also welcome to apply*. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our registered population and manage a varied general practice caseload. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and supportive clinical and administrative team and contribute to the continued development of our practice. Main duties of the job Ideal Candidate must be free to cover the following days/sessions **Mondays (AM or both AM & PM) **Tuesday PM( or both AM & PM) **Friday AM & PM Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients Conduct face to face, telephone, and online consultations. Manage acute and chronic conditions in line with national and local guidelines Undertake home visits Participate in care planning and health promotion for patients with long term conditions Issue prescriptions appropriately in accordance with practice and NHS policy Review test results, hospital letters and correspondence promptly Ensure accurate and timely clinical record keeping using emis clinical system & docman About us Cockfosters Medical Centre is a well-established, patient-focused independent GP practice serving the affluent and diverse community of Cockfosters, North London.
