Addington Medical Centre Salaried GP The closing date is 26 October 2026 Apply for this job Job summary We are a friendly, supportive and forward-thinking NHS GP practice seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our team for up to 6 sessions per week. We are a well-established practice in New Barnet and offer a close-knit working environment with a strong focus on supporting clinicians and reducing unnecessary administrative workload. Main duties of the job The post holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultation, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries. Making professional autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problem Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness. Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients in line with current practice disease management protocols. About us Addington Medical Centre is a dedicated and enthusiastic team of 3 Partners, 3 Salaried doctors, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 Health care assistant, and a large reception and administrative team. We are part of a very active Primary Care Network (PCN) and benefit from the support of Pharmacists, Care coordinators, Social prescribers, Physiotherapy, Mental health practitioners and Nursing Associates. As a practice we have regular team meetings, and have low home visiting due to access to Rapid Response. Free on site parking. List size over 9600 patients - CQC rated good in all areas. There are 3 partners and 3 salaried GPs.
