Health Alliance PCN Senior Practice Administrator The closing date is 15 October 2026 Apply for this job Job summary Health Alliance Primary Care Network is seeking an organised, proactive and experienced Senior Practice Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the PCN manager, providing high-level administrative and coordination support. This is a varied role for someone who can take ownership of delegated responsibilities, organise competing priorities and help ensure that services run efficiently. We are looking for someone with strong administrative and communication skills who can work independently, use their initiative and contribute positively to the continued development of the practice and PCN. Main duties of the job The Senior Practice Administrator will support the planning, coordination and delivery of a range of practice and PCN activities. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the formulation and implementation of practical plans to achieve local, PCN and national targets. Monitoring progress against agreed actions and escalating areas requiring attention. Undertaking and coordinating non-clinical audits, producing clear summaries and supporting resulting improvement plans. Organising staff rotas and helping to ensure appropriate administrative cover. Planning and coordinating health-promotion events, patient-engagement activities and other practice or PCN events. Providing general administrative support to the PCN Manager and wider team. Preparing documents, reports, spreadsheets, meeting papers and correspondence. Organising meetings, recording decisions and monitoring agreed actions. Maintaining accurate administrative records, trackers, policies and supporting documentation. Communicating effectively with staff, patients, member practices and external organisations. Identifying administrative or operational issues and helping to develop practical solutions. About us Health Alliance Primary Care Network brings together six GP practices serving approximately 58,000 patients across Harrow. Our member practices work collaboratively to improve access to primary care, develop services and provide coordinated support for our local population. The PCN brings together GPs, clinical professionals, care coordinators, administrative teams and other healthcare colleagues to deliver high-quality and responsive patient services.
