We are looking for an experienced hospital HCA within the Surgical ward department for flexible shifts. Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre. Our theatre team cover a wide variety of specialties including Ortho, Bariatric, General, Gyane, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmics, Spinal. Main duties of the job You will support registered nurses in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care on the Surgical Ward. Assisting with personal care, monitoring and recording observations, ECGs, phlebotomy manual handling and general ward support in line with clinical standards and care plans. Assisting the team on the surgical ward in the provision of exemplary patient care Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients Supporting nurses and clinicians in preparing patients for their upcoming procedures Accurately documenting patient information and escalating any concerns Providing reassurance and clear information to patients Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment at all times About us Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre.
