role is an essential member of the clinical team with the Extended Access
Service. You will provide high quality clinical care to the patients attending
the services, dealing with a diverse range of health needs. You will be part of
a team providing a friendly and professional service, in a CQC rated good
organisation. This role is expected to be a
mix of locum shifts on site across 5 locations. Hours of operation are: Monday - Friday 6:30pm - 8:30pm Saturday - 9am - 1pm and 1pm - 5pm Sunday - 9am - 1pm The role has
opportunity for personal development as well as support other clinical areas
within The Confederation as needed. Main duties of the job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Surgery and Telephone Consultations Administration Complying with the Confederation contracts Education
and training of junior/trainee clinical staff. About us The

quality consultations to patients in Hillingdon managing acute and chronic
disease Work with the
operations team and Service Clinical Lead to ensure the provision of high
quality care Work with the
Clinical Lead to ensure the clinical safety of the service by provide clinical
updates/training/incident reviews when appropriate. Complete and provide the analysis of clinical audits as requested
by the clinical lead or COD. Practise evidence-based medicine, in line with national and
locally agreed guidelines Conduct patient consultations during the service clinical
appointment hours Undertake telephone and face to face consultations as required, Prescribe in line with local and national guidelines Refer patients to secondary/urgent care and additional
interventions as appropriate Manage long-term conditions and patients with complex problems Promote healthy living strategies and give health and wellbeing
advice, generally encouraging patients to follow a
