Annandale Medical Centre Salaried GP The closing date is 14 October 2026 Apply for this job Job summary Salaried GP Join Our Friendly, Forward-Thinking Team Annandale Medical Centre | From September 2026 We are looking for an enthusiastic, Salaried GP for 5-6 sessions to join our friendly, supportive GP training practice.Serving around 7,800 patients from our modern, purpose-built premises, we offer a collaborative environment where clinicians work closely across disciplines to provide excellent, patient-centred care. You'll join an established multidisciplinary team of 3 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, GP Trainees, Practice Nurses, Prescribing Pharmacist, Paramedics, Community Mental Health Nurse and Social Prescriber . Informal visits welcome come and meet the team and see the practice for yourself. 5-6 sessions Tuesday: AM & PM Thursday: AM & PM Friday: AM & PM Experience in primary care, EMIS, teaching, research, quality improvement or additional clinical interests would be welcome. Competitive, negotiable sessional rates depending on experience. Main duties of the job Clinical Duties Conduct face-to-face, telephone, triage consultations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Prescribe medications in accordance with national and local guidelines. Assess, investigate, and refer patients when appropriate. Manage home visits where required. Review laboratory results, imaging reports, and correspondence. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records. Patient Care Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. Promote health education and disease prevention. Support shared decision-making with patients. Safeguard vulnerable adults and children in line with practice policies. Quality and Governance Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives. Comply with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Contribute to significant event reviews and risk management processes. Maintain confidentiality and information governance standards. Team Working Work collaboratively with nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, mental health worker, social prescriber and administrative staff. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Provide clinical support and advice to other members of the practice team. Professional Development Maintain GMC registration and license to practice. Undertake continuing professional development activities. Keep up to date with current clinical guidelines and best practices.
