The Trust is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. We are looking for a confident and competent CT trained Radiographer for a fixed term maternity leave role. All CT scanners in the Trust are Siemens - including 3 x Siemens Edge scanners and one Dual Energy Siemens Pro.Pulse scanner. The successful candidate will be on a rotational rota across 3 operational sites - Darent Valley (core inpatient and A+E services), Queen Mary's Sidcup and the North Kent Community Diagnostic Centre (outpatient CT services including cardiac CT and Virtual Colonoscopy).Therolling rota is inclusive of night shifts and weekends. We currently have over 70 Radiographers working in our Trust and we have an extensive range of modalities including DR, CT, MRI, ultrasound, breast imaging, nuclear medicine, bone densitometry, Lithotripsy, interventional and cardiac angiography and all aspects of general and fluoroscopic radiography. Radiographer role extension/CPD is actively encouraged and supported in Radiology. Examples being: Appendicular and Axial, CT Head, MRI and lower and upper GI reporting. We currently have one Consultant Radiographer in Breast Imaging. Main duties of the job The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Directorate. The post holder will: Participate in primarily providing a radiographic service to CT patients, A&E/UCC patients, GP patients, Outpatients, and Inpatients. The post holder may on occasion be required to support the x-ray service. Undertakes shift working, including nights and weekends that meet the needs of the service.
