Were looking for caring, dedicated individuals to join HCRG Care Group as Community Carers, supporting children with complex medical needs across Surrey. You will be providing highquality, personalised care in the place where children feel safest and most comfortable their own homes and community settings. In this vital role, you will work closely with families and clinical teams to deliver safe, sensitive, childcentred care. Youll need to be flexible, as the needs of each child can change but the reward is knowing your support directly enhances their wellbeing, comfort, and independence. See what a rewarding career as a Community Carer looks like: Main Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective care to children in the community as delegated by the Named Nurse. Identify safeguarding concerns and follow appropriate procedures. Maintain competencies in specific clinical skills and understand emergency procedures, including escalation and resuscitation. Support childrens learning, development, and wellbeing in partnership with families and multidisciplinary colleagues. Help create a safe, stimulating environment and monitor and record each childs condition, taking action where needed. Organise daytoday activities and attend mandatory training, supervision, and team sessions. Complete the HCRG Care Certificate within 3 months (if required). Follow infection control, confidentiality, and health & safety procedures. Communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals, adapting your approach where communication barriers exist. Participate in team meetings, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a supportive team culture
