ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Main duties of the job Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care and ensure continuity of services. Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal hygiene while maintaining independence, dignity, and respect. Awareness and timely escalation of clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, and infections are crucial. Interaction with residents should be courteous, respecting their dignity and individuality. Safe working practices across various tasks are expected. The role demands the ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative, and carry out reasonable instructions efficiently. Adaptability and flexibility to cover short-notice responsibilities are essential. Experience is not required, as a thorough induction and training program is provided.
