Were now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Housekeeping Assistant at Rivermere Care Home in Kent. ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilities will include: Carrying out all cleaning duties in accord Main duties of the job Your role as Housekeeping Assistant involves working as part of a team to maintain cleanliness and laundry standards in the care home. You'll adhere to the standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry to ensure hotel service standards are maintained. Responsibilities include carrying out cleaning duties as per worksheet instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and materials, and ensuring that areas are well presented and maintained. Respect for residents is crucial; you'll treat them with dignity and ensure their personal space and belongings are respected. Ideal candidates possess knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience in public setting laundry cleaning is required, along with compassion and commitment to delivering quality housekeeping services. Flexibility and adaptability to cover various responsibilities at short notice are also necessary. The role requires undergoing a DBS Disclosure check, paid by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
