Internally the post holder will develop effective working relationships with Cedar Ward Multidisciplinary Team, Cedar Ward Management Team, Site Management,ASPH support services Externally this include,Patient,Family members/ Carers and Transport. This post includes evenings, weekends and Bank holiday work. Sponsorship is not available for this post! Main duties of the job o - Answer telephone and co-ordinate messages, initiating action accordingly. -Receive visitors to the ward and ensure that they are directed to the appropriate areas and that relevant personnel are informed of their arrival. -Assist with patients' property checks, receipts of property and safe storage as necessary. -Assist the ward sister/charge nurse in the monitoring of furniture, fittings and equipment. -Process requisitions for repair as necessary. -Assist with monitoring of the physical environment and tidiness of the ward, keeping the ward sister/charge nurse or their deputies informed and take appropriate actions as required. -Maintain/assist with ordering of food and other supplies -Always act in a professional manner to uphold good standards of conduct. -To support the ward and organisation by carrying out any other duties that reasonably fit within the broad scope of a job of this grade and type of work.
