Your responsibilities will include
Supporting Nurses and Consultants during surgical procedures. Main duties of the job Assisting Scrub Nurses within operating theatres.
Supporting patients within the anaesthetic room.
Safely transporting patients to and from theatre and wards.
Opening sterile packs and preparing equipment for procedures.
Preparing, checking and handling surgical instruments.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, infection prevention and control.
Contributing to a safe, efficient and high-quality theatre environment.
Providing reassurance and support to patients throughout their theatre experience.
