This role is ideal for doctors at Resident Doctor (formally known as SHO) level (FY2/FY3/ST1-2 or equivalent), particularly those looking to undertake a rewarding and well-supported F3 year. You will join a friendly, forward-thinking General team in a busy and well-established hospital, gaining exposure to a broad range of acute and elective General surgical care while developing your clinical confidence in a supportive environment. As a resident doctor within the team, you will be actively involved in ward care, acute admissions, outpatient activity, and the on-call rota, with excellent opportunities to attend theatre and build procedural skills. The department is committed to education and development, offering strong senior support, access to teaching, and opportunities to get involved in audit and quality improvement work. Main duties of the job The Trust Doctor post at Wexham Park Hospital will provide experience of emergency and elective urology care with on-calls in Urology and General Surgery. The post will be supervised with opportunities to develop clinical and surgical skills, while improving experience of teaching, quality improvement, research and leadership.
