Successful candidate will work across the paediatric and neonatal teams. This post is for 12 months, twoposts are available. ST4 trainees work a full shift rota, covering daytime duties and out-of-hours shifts across both general paediatrics and neonatal services. Main duties of the job We are seeking an enthusiastic middle grade Doctor who has started their training in Paediatrics and is keen to progress their training within the existing team in a modern hospital with a well-equipped children's department andlocal neonatal unit (level 2). While this post does not carry formal training recognition, it does provide an opportunity to care for a tremendously varied group of patients in a large paediatric department in a busy District General Hospital. This post holder would join a team of Consultants, Specialty Doctors, middle grade and resident Doctors. The responsibilities will include a combination of Registrar night duties alongside day shifts, and an opportunity to develop outpatient skills. There will be opportunity for teaching and auditing.
