About the role To work with the following service user groups: both Children and Adults with physical disabilities, mental health needs and learning disabilities. To assess service users with complex care needs, recommend equipment and or major adaptations to promote and improve independence. Manual handling assessments to reduce risks to the service user and carers. The role will allow you to join an experienced and motivated team who work closely and collaboratively with internal and external services to provide a holistic approach to assessment and care plans. The successful candidate will join a positive and supportive team, who actively support CPD and service development, and regularly receive individual supervision, peer supervision, and multi-agency discussions. The role assists /supports surrounding teams such as housing, the social work team and the adaptation team following the Occupational Therapist completion of robust reports detailing the housing, care and adaptation needs of our residents. About the team You will be part of a supportive Adult Social Care team, working alongside Occupational Therapists, Sensory Technicians and a wide range of professionals across health and social care services. The team works collaboratively with internal colleagues and external partners, including NHS services, housing providers, and voluntary organisations, to deliver coordinated care and support. This is a dynamic environment where teamwork, communication, and a shared commitment to improving outcomes for residents are central to success. About you You will demonstrate the Haringey values of being Caring, Collaborative, Community Focused, Courageous and Creative. You will be a qualified Occupational Therapist and registered with the Health Care Professions Council. You will be expected to understand the legislation relevant to the role; including, but not limited to.
