Working closely with colleagues across research, evidence, policy and communications, the postholder will develop and nurture strategic partnerships across the health data sector, identify opportunities for collaboration and income generation, and support organisations to translate evidence into practice. The role will also focus on strengthening capability and capacity across the health data sector through the development of resources, events and learning opportunities, and by supporting decision-making about health data use. Main duties of the job As a Strategic Partnerships and Impact Manager, you will: Develop and grow strategic partnerships with stakeholders across the health data community including research organisations, charities, industry and policy influencers to increase the profile, reach and impact of UPD's work. Identify and develop sponsorship, commissioned work and other income-generating opportunities that support UPD's long-term sustainability. Develop and deliver shared events, practical resources and learning opportunities that help organisations apply evidence about public attitudes to their decisions and practice, while avoiding duplication and extending the reach of UPDs support. Convene organisations around shared challenges, coordinate collaborative projects and demonstrate how collective approaches can deliver greater value for the wider health data community. Represent UPD externally, building trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and representing our evidence, resources and perspectives externally. Work closely with colleagues across research, policy and communications to deliver shared priorities and organisational objectives. We provide clear, accessible information and resources to support public understanding and better conversations about data.
