The Royal Marsden Private Care provides the same specialist expertise in a private setting across Sutton, Chelsea and Cavendish Square, offering outpatient, inpatient and day-unit services. Our multidisciplinary teams work together to deliver seamless, high-quality care at every stage of the patient journey. We are seeking an enthusiastic Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our Private Care Pharmacy team. You will play a key role in providing safe, effective and patient-centred medicines management for oncology and haemato-oncology patients. Working closely with Pharmacists, Doctors, Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure patients receive the right medicines, information and support throughout their treatment. You will contribute to medicines optimisation across outpatient, inpatient and day-unit settings, supporting safe and effective care. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist skills within a leading oncology environment where medicines management, patient safety and high-quality care are central to everything we do. Main duties of the job 1.1. To support the operational delivery of medicines optimisation services across clinical services in Private Care, including medical day units, outpatients and inpatient services. 1.2. Work Collaboratively with wider Pharmacy teams and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive a safe, effective and efficient medicines management service. 1.3. Contribute to medicines optimisation, patient safety, clinical governance and quality improvement within the service for Private Care. 1.4. Contribute to the continuous review and development of pharmacy services within Private Care, identifying opportunities to improve medicines management, patient safety and efficiency. 1.5. To support the Lead Pharmacist in ensuring a prompt, safe and efficient medicines management and supply service is provided across Private Care.
