Were now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Food and Beverage Team Member at Rivermere Care Home in Chipstead, Sevenoaks, Kent. ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include: Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining. Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures. Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options. Being aware of residents dietary requirements. The role of a Food and Beverage Assistant at Rivermere Care Home involves supporting the dining service and helping residents with meals. Responsibilities include assisting residents with meal selections, setting dining tables according to standards, maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the dining area, and ensuring availability of fresh cakes and snacks. The ideal candidate should exhibit high personal hygiene standards, compassion, and previous relevant experience. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is advantageous. The role requires a DBS Disclosure check conducted by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
