You'll lead on digital content for the council, from storyboard to final edit. You'll create video, graphics and social posts that inform and engage residents across our channels. You'll manage paid social campaigns, track performance, and turn insights into better results. You'll work closely with colleagues across the council, advise senior officers and members on digital approaches, and take part in our press office rota, including out of hours cover and newsletter duties. We're looking for someone with: A strong portfolio of creative, original content Skills in video editing tools such as CapCut and Canva Experience running paid social campaigns on Meta and Google An eye for social media trends and how to use them for local government Confidence working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team If you want your work seen by thousands of residents and want to help shape how Merton talks to its community, we'd like to hear from you.
