About the Team and Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapy Practitioner Manager to join our Information, Contact and Assessment Service (ICAS), the front door to Adult Social Care in Lambeth.
ICAS is a fast-paced, dynamic service that receives and triages a high volume of referrals from a wide range of sources. The team is made up of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Assessors, working collaboratively to provide timely, strengths-based interventions that help residents maintain their independence and wellbeing. We work closely with partner organisations, including Age UK Lambeth, and have a strong focus on prevention, early intervention and connecting residents with community resources.
As the Occupational Therapy Practitioner Manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership, management and supervision to Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants within the team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective caseload management. Working closely with Age UK colleagues and other Adult Social Care Practitioner Managers, you will play a key role in screening, prioritising and directing new referrals, supporting the smooth and effective operation of the service. The Occupational Therapy Practitioner Manager reports directly to the Occupational Therapy Team Manager.
If you are enthusiastic and organised with strong leadership and communication skills, and passionate about improving outcomes for our residents, then we want to hear from you.

- Passionate about providing a high-quality service and committed to strengths-based and evidence based practice.
- An effective leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative and committed to partnership working, innovation and service development
- Proactive in problem-solving, decision-making and managing competing priorities.
