We are recruiting for a Care Support Assistant to support an a client with Learning disabilities, PICA and epilepsy. Our client requires support with all person hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and keeping safe. Our client has PICA which means they will eat anything, they require constant supervision to ensure they are not eating anything harmful. Main duties of the job All day hours are supported on a 2:1, any new staff will work alongside staff who have supported our client for a period of time until they get to know them well, know the routines and build a relationship. Our client attends school during the week which is why support finishes at 9am when transport comes to collect our client and starts at 3pm in preparation for transport to bring him home.
