The key ingredients to being a successful Activities Lead is the interpersonal and preparation abilities that will ensure every resident is making the most of every day, delivering activities and ideas that bring out the best in those we passionately care about. Main duties of the job As an Activities Assistant at Aria Healthcare, you will be responsible for organizing and delivering engaging activities that cater to the interests and abilities of residents at our Thames View home in Thames Ditton. The role is full time, requiring flexible working on five days per week from 9am to 5.30pm, including alternate weekends. Previous experience in similar settings, ideally a care home, is advantageous. The ability to plan and execute activities that foster interaction and enjoyment is crucial. Having strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, is essential. You'll play a vital role in enhancing residents' lives, making each day memorable and fulfilling through activity involvement.
