Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust Clinical Engineering Assistant (Store Person/Driver) The closing date is 05 November 2026 Apply for this job Job summary The post holder will be based at our warehouse Newtons Court and will be responsible for performing an array of duties not limited to but including receiving and storing incoming stock and equipment and recording all data on a database. They will be required to deliver and collect Trust Assets / Equipment to and from the wards and departments where Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust undertakes activities. Travelling to and from these sites on a daily basis. Support with storage of beds undertake stacking/ unstacking as and when required. This position will not be supported for visa sponsorship. All applicants are expected to have valid right to work document to work in the UK when applying for this position. Main duties of the job Alongside this, under supervision they will assist the Clinical Engineering team servicing and repair of mechanical equipment. The post holder may be required to provide cover for Medical Equipment Library (MEL) during short-term absences (e.g. annual leave, sickness). This will be limited to essential duties necessary to maintain service continuity and will not involve the full responsibilities or accountability of the higher band role.
