Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Senior Pharmacy Technician - Moorfields North The closing date is 10 November 2026 Apply for this job Job summary Please note that this post is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months. The post holder will support the Lead Pharmacy Technicians and Specialist Pharmacists in the provision of a safe, effective, and efficient Pharmacy service to Outpatients and Day-case patients seen at the Moorfields Eye Unit at the Northwick Park Network Site. The post holder will be based at the Moorfields Satellite Pharmacy at Northwick Park site and may be required to cover at various other Moorfields Satellite pharmacies across the Moorfields North network as necessary. Main duties of the job Responsible for managing and coordinating workflow in the dispensariesMonitoring the quality of Pharmacy service provided to ensure an excellent and cost efficient service is provided.If necessary, act as line manager to Assistant Technical Officers (ATOs) / apprentices. The post holder will be responsible for supervising and managing day-to-day operational activities of all staff working in the Pharmacy dispensaries and/or within the clinical areas.Work with relevant Pharmacy leads to ensure that Pharmacy services meet the needs of the users.Provide operational cover where necessary across the Moorfields North satellite pharmacies to ensure a safe and effective clinical Pharmacy service is maintained.The post holder will be required to work with and support the Lead Pharmacy Technician for procurement and distribution to implement and maintain various systems to meet procurement of medicines and the supply of medicinal stocks to clinical areas within the division.
