The Role:
As an Environmental Health Officer you can make your own powerful contribution to Westminster’s success. Our Public Protection and Licensing service works to ensure that every one of our residents, businesses and visitors enjoys a clean, safe and quiet city, and when you join our Proactive Noise Team you’ll respond to complaints relating to residential, commercial and street-based noise, odour and light pollution. Harnessing your knowledge of environmental health policies and legislation, you’ll work to make our borough a healthy and peaceful place to live, work and visit.
Carrying out routine or unannounced visits and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation, and taking action to improve conditions through engagement and education, you’ll deliver a fair and informed response to complaints and concerns from our communities, resolving issues in a timely and efficient way.
