North London NHS Foundation Trust Trust Grade Doctor - General Adult (Enfield - Suffolk & Sussex Ward) The closing date is 08 November 2026 Apply for this job Job summary Trust Grade Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry -North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) is recruiting for a Trust Grade Doctor to work in the Enfield acute adult wards (Suffolk Ward). This post is available on a full-time basis. Main duties of the job The post holder will be required to provide clinical and professional input to their team and to take part in related service development activities alongside the consultants and managers in each team. The post will offer the opportunity to perform clinical assessments of individuals with mental health problems including mental state examination, history taking, and attendance of meetings with the multidisciplinary team. Additional opportunities with regards to Mental Health Act Assessments, tribunal report writing and attendance as well as leading of MDT meetings/work. The post holder will gain experience with the full spectrum of psychiatric morbidity. The post holder will work closely with their respective multidisciplinary teams (consultant, other doctors, physician associate, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapist, social workers & graduate mental health workers). The care delivered is recovery-focused, placing emphasis on individuals' strengths and goals for the future.
