This is a manager job in HMPPS HQ responsible for providing advice to a wide range of prison, HMPPS, Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) and Police personnel on policing issues in prisons; in particular on Category A prisoners, High Security Estate issues, threats to life in prisons and criminal gang issues. These are highly sensitive areas where the appropriate and timely sharing of intelligence is critical for the safe management of high risk prisoners
