King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Senior Analyst (Cadence) - ITCS Outpatients The closing date is 22 October 2026 Apply for this job Job summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a full-time Senior Analyst within the Cadence team in the Information Technology Clinical Systems (ITCS) directorate. This role offers the chance to develop your programme management experience within the NHS while supporting the continued optimisation and stability of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR). ITCS Senior Analysts support and maintain a portfolio of Epic and non-Epic systems that underpin the delivery of digital services across Guy's and St Thomas' (GSTT) and King's College Hospital (KCH). We are looking for candidates with strong digital aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and an understanding of NHS workflows, particularly within community and outpatient services. The role requires the ability to manage competing priorities while building effective relationships with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders. Working within a supportive team led by an Application Manager and Deputy Application Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders to review, design, configure, test, and deploy Epic workflows and clinical content. You will also provide timely support to end users, resolve system issues, and contribute to optimisation projects, software upgrades, and future platform enhancements. Main duties of the job Managing, co-ordinating and leading the configuration requirements and ensuringbuild is delivered in a timelyway. Working with theappropriate stakeholdersto analyse, negotiate andfacilitateagreement for change to high-impact or critical workflows and current working practices, whilst managing expectations and resolving conflicts when necessary; Being a member of the multi-disciplinary configuration team, ensuring a consistent approach to the configuration and integration between the Epic modules and across the wider team; Being a key member of a designated Configuration and Application team ensuring design integrity Analysing and suggest ways to improve current workflows and working practices; Assistingwith preparation for the testing and upgrading of the system to ensure it is safe, usable,secureand robust; Work with the clinical systems teams to support complex Epic, and other, software demonstrations and present information on the team's progress to theappropriate forums, adapted in a way in which makes it easy for the audience to understand; Toassist in the delivery of the Trust's EHR system About us Guy's and StThomas'NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) and King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KCH) are two of London's largest and busiest teaching hospitals, with a long and proud history, international reputations for their speciality services, teaching and research excellence, and a strong profile of local services to local residents inSouth EastLondon.
