Knightsbridge Medical Centre Locum GP - Knightsbridge Medical Centre The closing date is 25 October 2026 Apply for this job Job summary Friendly Central London 16,000 patient GP Training Practice looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and forward-thinking locum GP for one day a week ( 2 sessions) on a Wednesday Purpose-built premises with full complement of administrative and clinical staff, including 5 GPs, 1 Trainees, 2x PN, HCA, Pharmacists,. We deliver a high standard of clinical care for our patients focusing on proactive personalised care, disease prevention and patient education. We are an active member of the Brompton Primary Care Network. Closing date 25th October. Start date 1st November New qualified GPs are welcome to apply. Main duties of the job Clinical responsibilities In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/herself available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, dealing with queries, referring patients as appropriate, paperwork and correspondence. Making professional decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation. Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness. Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate. In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care. We have 2 partners, 5 GPs, 3 registrars, Nursing Team and a clerical team of 8. We have an emphasis on patient care and as a training practice, we support the professional development of our staff. We are passionate about working together as a team to meet the clinical needs of our local population and improve our patient's care.
