About the candidate
Have proven experience in building maintenance, caretaking, trades, or facilities
management.
Possess a practical working knowledge of health and safety regulations (such as COSHH, fire safety, and risk assessments).
Exhibit strong communication skills to coordinate shifts with the assistant caretaker and build positive relationships with external hirers and school staff.
Show flexibility and commitment to working varied hours, including evening and weekend shift patterns, to support community bookings and emergency out-of-hours calls.
