Are you passionate about compliance, health and safety, and delivering excellent housing services?
We are looking for a dedicated Contract and Quality Manager to play a key role in ensuring our housing stock remains safe, secure, and fully compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements relating to water hygiene.
Brent is one of the most diverse boroughs in the country, with communities, ideas and experiences from across the world helping to shape who we are. Working here means joining a council that is focused on fairness, open to new thinking and committed to improving life for local people.
Our values shape how we work and what people can expect from us. We collaborate proactively, lead inclusively, embrace change, are bold and curious, and celebrate and share our success. About the role
As part of a proactive and forward-thinking local authority team, you will lead the management and delivery of our water hygiene programme and associated remedial works. Working collaboratively with colleagues across a range of compliance disciplines, your primary focus will be to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our water systems, helping to protect residents and maintain high standards across our homes and communities.

Embed innovation and sustainability—including climate change considerations—into your compliance strategies.
Recognised legionella/water hygiene qualifications (ACoP L8 etc), compliance knowledge, and practical experience managing communal water systems to HSG274 is essential.
Communal gas qualifications would be desirable, however, demonstrable experience within a social housing gas management environment will be considered.
