Alongside our partners, we provide some of the most exciting musical experiences in the capital, from dazzling classical concerts and opera to unique shows with leading contemporary artists, cutting-edge electronic creations, durational experiences, and cross-arts collaborations. The role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join the Barbican Music team, to co-ordinate all aspects of pre-production and event management. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Barbican productions to the highest technical and artistic standard, through competent and precise advanced planning, administration, communication, budgeting and the supervision of events. A working knowledge of event travel, hotels, backline, technical riders, staging, visas and FEU tax is required. Evening and weekend work is an integral part of the role. This position will focus on music events of all genres of the Music programme in the Barbican Concert Hall and in off-site venues. To be successful in your application you will need an extensive and wide-ranging working knowledge of music, substantial experience in an event management role in
