About the job
Job summary
As part of the Governments response to the Grenfell Tower tragedy, the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) was established under the Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA). There is considerable work still to do to develop and embed this fledgling regime and much work yet to come in the response to the Grenfell inquiry reports. This requires BSR to secure lasting and positive changes in industry leadership, competence and culture, work with stakeholders to overcome challenges and seize the opportunities that arise from policy that is driven from the very highest levels of Government.
The BSR is a key part of the Governments reforms of building regulation and fire safet
