We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our Falls Prevention Team, working alongside Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Assistants and other members of the wider multidisciplinary team. Our Falls Prevention Service supports people who have experienced falls or are at risk of falling, helping them improve their strength, balance, confidence and independence. Through practical support, wellbeing interventions and rehabilitation programmes, we help people remain safely at home and reduce the need for unnecessary hospital attendance. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll spend time supporting patients in their own homes, assisting with rehabilitation programmes, carrying out wellbeing visits and helping to deliver group-based strength and balance activities. The position is for 22.5 hours per week and offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference within your local community. Please note: a full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential as trav Main duties of the job The Healthcare Assistant position at HCRG Care Group is focused on supporting the Falls Prevention Team, aimed at helping individuals who have experienced or are at risk of falls. The role involves working alongside a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistants. Responsibilities include delivering strength and balance classes, visiting patients at home, assisting with rehabilitation programmes, and offering wellbeing interventions. The role also involves administrative support and participating in team meetings and training. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential requirements for community visits.
