Jewish Care Chef De Partie (Full Time - 40 hours) The closing date is 30 November 2026 Apply for this job Job summary The Chef de Partie will play an important role within Jewish Cares Catering & Hospitality team at Anita Dorfman House on the Sandringham Campus in Stanmore. This permanent, full-time position offers 40 hours per week, working five days out of seven, including some weekends, with shifts of either 7am3.30pm or 10.30am7pm. Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef, the postholder will help manage kitchen operations and deliver high-quality catering services for residents and community members. Responsibilities include overseeing food preparation and production, maintaining food hygiene and health and safety standards, contributing to menu planning and presentation, and ensuring meals meet individual dietary needs and cultural and religious requirements. You will also support colleagues, promote efficient kitchen procedures and help maintain excellent food quality, customer service and operational standards. A recognised professional chef qualification and Level 2 food hygiene qualification are essential. Main duties of the job We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and motivated Chef de Partie to join our Catering & Hospitality team at Anita Dorfman House on the Sandringham Campus in Stanmore. Working 40 hours per week, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality, nutritious and appealing meals for residents and community members. You will oversee food preparation and production, contribute creative ideas to menus and presentation, and help ensure meals meet individual dietary requirements, including cultural and religious needs. You will also help maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards and support the effective running of the kitchen.
