Assistant Director Asset Investment and Sustainability, Capital Works

Key Responsibilities: - Effective leadership and management of the team, delivering the required outputs for SHP and residents. - Delivery and compliance with all applicable asset management legislative and regulatory obligations . - Overseeing the development of intelligent Major Works programmes utilising accurate, reliable data, systems and reporting . - Overseeing effective procurement operations, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, regulation and the delivery of value for money works’ programmes. - Overseeing the effective management of contractors , ensuring major works are delivered to the appropriate quality standard, valued and paid for in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions. - Leading on the development and implementation of effective resident engagement and involvement activity supporting the delivery of an excellent customer experience for residents. - Leading and supporting the delivery of service improvement projects delivering the required outputs for SHP and residents. - Accurate and effective budget planning, management and forecasting . - Effective collaborative working with other Senior Leadership Team colleagues and teams delivering the required outputs for SHP and residents.
